Participants complete their summer “Shakesperience” with a professional Prague Shakespeare Company credit added to their resume. The Four Week June/July session will give participants the opportunity to participate in The Tempest directed by Carolyn Johnson and starring Jim Johnson as Prospero, 12th Night director TBA, Titus Andronicus directed by Kevin Hopkins or Romeo and Juliet directed by PSC Artistic Director Guy Roberts – all performed in the heart of Prague at the beautiful Estates Theater (where Mozart premiered Don Giovanni in 1787). All SSI productions are featured as part of Prague Shakespeare Company’s 2019 Season and allow participants to work alongside professional PSC artists.
SSI students also have the option to attend professional Czech productions with the Summer Shakespeare Festival at Prague Castle and the National Theatre of the Czech Republic.
